Oakshire
This Spanish Mission Revival-style home needed some greening up. We replaced a rickety old wood deck with an at-grade terrace of Saltillo tile and a painted wood pergola overhead for some vigorous Lady Banks roses to take over. Behind the garage, we provided a more secluded patio with a built-in bench and then we connected the two areas with a lawn, punctuated by a flagstone pathway. Since the garage suddenly became a centerpiece of the yard, we upgraded its access door to something more aesthetically pleasing and mounted a trellis onto its wall for another vine.
